What is the voice of the Lord like? We try to hear and understand through our experience with human voices. Ah! But God is not human. Then what is He, surely His voice will reflect that? God is Spirit! What does that mean? Will His voice have laughter, anger, impatience? Oh, but that is human. To learn to hear the voice of Almighty God, we must learn and understand His nature. Thinking in the Kingdom of Heaven is surely different than here in earth! Lord, teach us to know you, and to know your voice!
