It is particularly interesting to note in our study of the scriptures regarding the historical development of prophecy–with  the blessing of looking back over the centuries– we clearly see that the overall purposes of God accomplished included two powerful elements: to reveal Himself to His people, and to reveal and manifest His plan. Yes, the great Jehovah had a massive overall plan of restoration and reconciliation, and His motivation was love. As the supreme God, yet His desire was to bring erring man back under the shadow of His wings, and to love, nurture and have relationship with him, as He intended in the beginning.
