Often we think of the word prophecy as telling the future, or the Lord telling us which car to buy. The world relies on mediums and psychics for just those kinds of things. But Scripture warns us against those ways of seeking wisdom outside the spirit of the Lord. So what then, IS Prophecy? And WHY is prophecy? And how do we recognize the genuine from the fake, false or just mistaken guidance? The voice of the Lord can’t be separated from Who He is. So what does that mean? In this class we will explore what and why the Lord speaks through prophets and ordinary people. This lesson includes, What the Prophetic is NOT:  soul;  What the Prophetic IS:  spirit;  What is the essence of the gift of prophecy: God’s voice for God’s Purpose.
